Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and AI Humanizer Lab Inc. ("AI Humanizer Lab," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the AI Humanizer, AI Detector, Paraphraser, Grammar Checker, and Citation Checker tools at aihumanizerlab.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

The Service lets you paste, type, or upload text and run it through one or more automated tools: rewriting AI-generated text to read more naturally (AI Humanizer), estimating the likelihood that text was AI-generated (AI Detector), rewording text while preserving its meaning (Paraphraser), checking grammar and style (Grammar Checker), and checking the formatting and completeness of citations (Citation Checker). All outputs are generated automatically and are provided for your own review and editing.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service on your own behalf. If you are between 13 and 15 years old, you may only use the Service under the supervision of, and with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not intended for children under 13.

4. Accounts

You do not need an account to use any tool. Creating a free account (via Google sign-in) is optional and lets you save your generation history across sessions and devices.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account session and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@aihumanizerlab.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Free Access and Fair Use

All tools are currently provided free of charge, with no per-account word cap and no credit card required. To keep the Service available and reliable for everyone, we apply automated, IP-based fair-use limits to the AI Humanizer and Paraphraser tools — currently up to 100,000 words per 30-day period and a per-minute request limit across all tools. These limits are designed to catch automated or abusive traffic, not occasional real usage, and may be adjusted from time to time to keep the Service sustainable.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including these limits, at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes that affect how you use the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation; attempt to circumvent our fair-use limits, rate limits, or security measures, including through the use of multiple accounts, IP rotation, bots, or scripts; reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; upload content that infringes a third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; or use the Service to generate content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that sexualizes minors.

Additional detail on acceptable and prohibited uses is set out in our Responsible Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating either document, as described in "Termination" below.

7. Your Content and License

You retain all ownership rights in the text you submit to the Service ("Your Content") and in the output the Service generates for you.

By submitting Your Content, you grant AI Humanizer Lab a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you — for example, sending it to our AI-processing subprocessor to generate a humanized or paraphrased result, or storing it in your account history if you are signed in. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from our systems, except to the extent retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit Your Content and that doing so does not violate any law or any third party's rights. Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information belonging to someone else without their authorization.

8. AI-Generated Output; No Guarantees

The Service uses automated and AI-based systems, which can make mistakes. We do not guarantee that any output will be grammatically perfect, factually accurate, suitable for any particular purpose, or that it will or will not be flagged by any specific third-party AI-detection tool. Detection and humanization technologies are constantly evolving on both sides, and results can vary.

The Service is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or academic advice, and output should not be relied upon as such. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any output before you rely on or publish it, and for complying with any policy your school, employer, publisher, or other institution has regarding the use of AI-assisted writing tools.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and the "AI Humanizer Lab" name and mark, is owned by AI Humanizer Lab Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as intended, these Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Google (for sign-in and reCAPTCHA bot protection) and our AI-processing and analytics subprocessors. Your use of these integrations may also be subject to those providers' own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI HUMANIZER LAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Humanizer Lab and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or Your Content.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, our Responsible Use Policy, or applicable law, or if we discontinue the Service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including "Your Content and License" (as it applies to already-processed content), "Intellectual Property," "Disclaimers," "Limitation of Liability," "Indemnification," and "Governing Law and Disputes" — will survive.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
