Responsible Use

Last updated: July 14, 2026

1. Our Commitment

AI Humanizer Lab exists to help people communicate more clearly and naturally — smoothing an AI-assisted first draft, catching grammar mistakes, checking citations, or understanding whether a piece of text reads as AI-generated. It is a writing aid, not a tool for deception, dishonesty, or harm.

This Responsible Use Policy explains what we consider acceptable and unacceptable use of the Service. It is incorporated into, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

2. Acceptable Uses

Typical, encouraged uses include: rewriting your own AI-assisted drafts so they read more naturally; checking your own writing for clarity, grammar, or tone before sending or publishing it; verifying citation formatting in your own academic or professional work; checking whether a passage you wrote (or are reviewing) reads as AI-generated; and using the Service as a support tool for non-native English writers, students, freelancers, and professionals improving their own material.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to: generate or spread disinformation, propaganda, or content designed to deceive the public about a real event, person, or organization; impersonate a real person or organization without authorization; harass, threaten, or generate hateful content targeting any individual or group; create content intended to facilitate fraud, phishing, fake reviews, or other scams; generate child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes minors, in any form — this is never acceptable and will be reported to the relevant authorities; infringe another person's copyright, trademark, or right of publicity; generate malware, exploit code, or content intended to attack or compromise a computer system; attempt to circumvent our rate limits or fair-use limits through automation, multiple accounts, or IP rotation; or systematically scrape or reverse-engineer the Service to build a competing product.

4. Academic Integrity

Submitting AI-generated or AI-humanized text as your own original academic work, without disclosure, may violate your school's or institution's academic integrity policy — regardless of what any AI detector reports. Before using the Service on any graded or evaluated work, check your institution's specific policy on AI-assisted writing.

The Service is intended to help you improve writing that reflects your own thinking, not to misrepresent authorship. We do not guarantee that humanized text will bypass any particular detector, and using it for that purpose against your institution's rules is your responsibility, not ours.

5. Content Ownership

As set out in our Terms of Service, you retain ownership of the text you submit and of the output generated for you. You are responsible for how you use that output, including ensuring you have the right to submit the underlying content in the first place.

6. Reporting Misuse

If you believe someone is using the Service in a way that violates this policy — including copyright or content concerns — please email ugc@aihumanizerlab.com with as much detail as you can provide (URLs, screenshots, or a description of the content). General questions can go to support@aihumanizerlab.com.

7. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in rate-limiting, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of access to the Service, as described in our Terms of Service. Where required by law, or where we believe there is a genuine risk to someone's safety, we may report illegal activity to law enforcement.
